Usually when I hear a new band it takes a few times for the song to grow on me.  I liked this song immediately.

                                                 "Sleng"

"How can i sleep if tomorow is the end,How can i die if there is no heaven, How can i stop if im not scared to go on.."
   R.I.P Dimi.

I am sorry that this song is in bulgarian. This is maybe the most progresive band in the history of our country, they showed up with this song like 10 years ago and were on the top till now. This sunday the life of their "brain" and singer Dimi has ended in an accident with motorbike.
The only one who touched the heart of the young ppl in bulgaria, trying to make the world better with his musik.

Julia Nunes (pronounced Noons) began posting videos on youtube.com about a year ago.  She has since won the Bushman World Ukulele Contest with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-lt3vVA-4I - this video and has opened for Ben Folds multiple times this year.  Her originals are excellent and she has produced some excellent covers as well.  I think what draws me in the most is her enthusiasm and infectious smile.

I love the internet and technology that allows unsigned artists to create and perform for the world.

Unique voice, captivating video editing, nice beat.

Yes!  What a great voice she has.  I'm always a sucker for the sounds of sincerity.  I also really like the close up on the child's glockenspiel.  lol

It's hard for me to describe this next clip in terms of style or genre.  It hints of Woodstock, Crosby,Stills, Nash and Young meets Clapton, with an essence of aged Black Crows.  I love it when a band can reach outside to confines of a 3 1/2 minute track and really bring their song to life.

Artist: Widespread Panic featuring Ann Marie Calhoun
Song: Driving Song (extended)

I watched the entire clip and loved it.  What a great group of players on one stage.  There are so many cool things to talk about in this clip.  The style is jazz/rock fusion, which makes it even more impressive because all the musicians on stage were improvising.  They were all spontaneously making the music up while they played.  It is obvious that she is classically trained, but she knows jazz theory as well.....which is what pushes her over into the 'awesome' category.  Those other guys were great too, did you see that huge bass?  Dang.  Did you notice how all the other guys were older?  It takes a long time to get that good at anything. ....Kinda like O.B.C.!  lol  Anyhow, great video...I wish I knew the name of the song.  Clap

I was fan of Jewel when she first hit mainstream.  She caught everyone by suprise that most of her songs were re-recorded for radio.  Whereas her album was a little less polished it's what made it awesome.

One of my favorite songs is 'Who will save your soul' so I couldnt help but click on the link when I saw that in the title.  I wasn't expecting much at all from an 11 year old, but was intrigued that she was playing the guitar as well.

Nice music in this thread. Here's some of my contribution to music. Mostly from 10 years ago, new stuff to be released eventually and should have our band's music up soon. The other 3 bands I'm with have quite a bit too but we aren't doing much but private parties right now. Be prepared, some of this is inspired by alcohol.

This is a nice recording Ice, as in they have a great microphone picking up every little microtone.....but the kid is playing like a robot.  I hate it when every single note sounds calculated.  Precise, but no feeling at all.
