*O.B.C* - Forum: star wars

   **************spoilers so don't read if not watched****************

well I must say that the whole film felt just more based upon being nostalgic about 4 5 6.  Felt more like star wars than 1 2 3, i.e. same lighting, the feel of the worlds etc

But seriously did they just take each of the best story lines, adventures etc from 4 5 6 and just make it into episode 7 because they could not think of anything new ?

Wont add any of the story lines or discussions just now until more reply but what were your thought?

	Had the same feeling Stephen, It was almost a carbon copy of episode 4, but I feel since it was overall a better movie than episodes 1,2 and 3 and because there were many moments that made you cheer like a kid again I forgave it. I hope in Episode 8 they move away from old storylines and move to new territory, based on how 7 ended I think they will.

	to be honest gav I think due to the fanboy reaction from the world on 7 I don't think JJ will move away from that winning formula My guess would be that 8 is about the training of a young jedi from a master jedi hidden away and living in solitude on a distant world. Going through the journey of learning and discovery and constantly being reminded of past failures of the training who turned to the dark side, then running away from that training to go and save her friends that's exactly what episode 8 brings mate :-)
