    PROCESSOR: AMD Athlon X2 2.8 GHZ / Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHZ
    MEMORY (RAM): 4 GB
    HARD DRIVE: 30 GB free space
    GRAPHICS CARD: AMD Radeon HD 3870 / NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GT / 512MB

RECOMMENDED:

    OS: Windows 8 64-bit
    PROCESSOR: AMD six-core CPU / Intel quad-core CPU
    MEMORY (RAM): 8 GB
    HARD DRIVE: 30 GB free space

and yes, the famas has Mr. Im out of ammo's name all over it. (I know, most have no idea what that means)

some sniping footage (this guy sucks though) looks like when your killed, color shadow of who did it and their location comes up. Not good for the campers, fyi.

Wont be getting this game, at least not right away. Ridiculous price and likely alot of glitches/patches/bug fixes in the opening weeks.
BF3 was good but once you ranked up and unlocked most things it got kinda samey.

All premium members of bf3 get access to the beta until Oct 4th. Played a few hours, and really liking it so far.

Some of my favorite features include how interactive the map is. There is a map with a bridge, and you can hit a switch that blocks the bridge to land vehicles, forcing them to get out and hit the switch to open it back up. Also the way vehicle damage has been redone. You can now damage their mobility, and it will auto repair itself after a duration.

Also, this is the first time I've ever ridden an elevator into battle.

Sounds like Dath is pretty interested, and I have a feeling Dan could be fairly easily persuaded :) 5 man squads right there.

Gavin, I gotta say even though this is only the beta, I'm noticing very few bugs so far. I feel like they are doing it right, and making sure the game is good to go, rather than releasing a sub-par game knowing there are things to fix.

Couple new things I've noticed. You can change your loadout in the browser before joining a game.

Sniping takes on a different role, which makes it pretty fun. There's infrared bino's that let you spot from long range. You have a variable power scope so you can switch between the two settings on the fly, and you can now zero your scope in at 100m intervals. They are also the ones that carry the c4 now :)

The way perks work is fun too. You unlock perk packages, and you can select between an aggressive package or a defensive package, based on your style of gameplay.
