Topic: Memory question Posted: November 21 2011 at 2:17pm |
I got G.Skill ripjaws X 1600 CL-7. 1.50V
The times they give for it are 7-8-7-24 but when i put those times in bios, the PC wont start.Tested all the voltages between 1.50 and 1.60 with those timings it goes to windows loading screen and reboots.Default settings in bios are 9-9-9-28 2T on 1.61V .Right now i run it on 8-8-8-24 1T, exactly on 1.50V, but its still not the timing it have to be.Any ideas why and it there will be any diference if i reach those timings.Btw when i overclock it to 1866 it gives me blue screen in few mins after Windows starts. From manufacturer:
With your Z68 motherboard, you can enable XMP Profile in UEFI, and it will automatically detect and set the memory. So make sure you enable that and everything should be fast and stable.
