Had to order fan extension cables as my case fan and cpu fan headers are opposite to the location of the fans.

whoppy? do you mean woopie? If so, I think the woppie making will take place when I insert the video card. (which still needs to be ordered)

I think I'll go with the 7970 as soon as they get one in stock. Debating on which company to go with. Gigabyte makes cards now, as well as Asus, Msi. Thinking about going with Sapphire though. Not sure if it really matters though.

Anyone had any luck using an x1 pcie device in a x16 or x8 slot? I'm told it will work, as long as the bios isn't buggy. I'm thinking about installing a TV tuner card and don't want to use an external device.

Everything is up and running. Forgot to wire up the DVD drive, ugh. Right when I had all of the wires nice and neat. Just making sure the CPU idle temp is within the norm. Will install win7 64 and run some benchmarks soon. Pics to follow.

Final pics of the build.

The video card. Sapphire 7970:

Fans installed on the radiator. PWM control from the CPU fan control, automatically adjusts fan speed based on CPU temp.

Just about finished with the wiring. Videocard is wired, SSD and HDD hooked up. Forgot about the BD/DVD drive though, hooked that up after turning everything on and wondering why it wasn't working.

Watercooling installed. Fan grills installed to protect the radiator.

Wiring complete (again except the BD/DVD drive), just gotta add the PCIe Sound Card. Running leak tests on the watercooling using a spare powersupply. (To get a powersupply to power up without a computer, insert a jumper wire from the green wire to any black wire on the motherboard plug)

Sound card installed to the right of the video card in the PCIe x1 slot. Everything closed up and ready to test the power, configure the bios and see how it works (minus the BD/DVD drive of course, we'll hook that up later)

A look at the finished product. I call this my Sleeper PC. It doesn't look like all that much, perhaps a PC for movies and Facebook, but she'll blow the doors off most anything (for the next 6 months that is)

	asus or best warranty.Almost all of intial release cards are made by amd.
