Latest drivers? Have you tried catalyst application profiles? Fixed some issues for me, mostly fps related tho.

Download these:
Remove currently installed drivers.
Reboot into safe mode.
Run driver sweeper.
Reboot.
Run cc cleaner.Registry and other one.
Reboot.
Install 10.12 drivers.

Have reinstalled windows 7 few days ago and the driver with it. You think doing this will have some effect?
Just an idea, can it be my memory overheating? I know its my display getting black and this message, but i see that this problem is caused sometimes because of the memory. Edited by Cresil - January 02 2011 at 3:46pm |

I think i found how to fix it, was playing Black ops without any crash for a hour.Ppl say there is some problem with the 2D and changing those values fix the problem
I had to make a profile and edit it like this : <Profile> <Caste name="Graphics"> <Groups> <Group name="Overdrive5"> <Feature name="TimeUnlocked" /> <Feature name="OverclockEnabled"> <Property name="OverclockEnabledProperty" value="True" /> </Feature> <Feature name="AutoTuneSupport" /> <Feature name="CoreClockTarget_0"> <Property name="Want_0" value="30000" /> This was 15700 <Property name="Want_1" value="55000" /> <Property name="Want_2" value="72500" /> </Feature> <Feature name="PowerControl_0"> <Property name="Want" value="0" /> </Feature> <Feature name="MemoryClockTarget_0"> <Property name="Want_0" value="50000" /> this was 30000 <Property name="Want_1" value="90000" /> <Property name="Want_2" value="100000" /> </Feature> <Feature name="CoreVoltageTarget_0"> <Property name="Want_0" value="950" /> <Property name="Want_1" value="1038" /> <Property name="Want_2" value="1088" /> </Feature> <Feature name="MemoryVoltageTarget_0"> <Property name="Want_0" value="0" /> <Property name="Want_1" value="0" /> <Property name="Want_2" value="0" /> </Feature> |

ATI has been playing around with the clocks 2d/3d and volts with a few of the last drivers.
You may have it.If not try another driver that likes your card.

Tested the one that came with on a CD with the card, no change and all this cleaning the 10.12 one, installed and 10.10.The good news is the card is ok now. Some say that this started after a windows update but i dont belive. If you right and its an error of ATI, it will be in all the drivers i download frim the Sapphire website coz i guess they tweak and the oldest versions. The only change i see now is the clocks in que were GPU Clock 100 Momory clock 300, now they are 300 and 500.
