I really don't know. Haven't tried or researched it. You should . Just looked at this case. 3 x 120 mm fans. esata on front port w/ audio + USB... great reviews. Cheaper.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811325005 I was just looking at graphics. Games these days are relying more and more on graphics. Don't get me wrong - processor is still critical. However, I would again say keep your eyes open, but I would be looking for something like this if I were on your budget: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150467 It has good speed, LIFETIME WARRANTIES, DirectX 11... I will try to find benchmarks... and here they are! http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html 5670 is at 1173 vs. 9500 GT @ 356. BIG jump when you consider bang for buck. I did Im lead to believe its the same, but I don't fully understand hald the lingo :) Think I'll go for dual core, and if necessary can upgrade later.
Video card is slightly confusing me. Hows this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102869 You and your edits are hard to keep up with :) The vid card you posted is pcie 2.1. Mobo is 2.0. From what I've read thats not a problem, right? Edited by Gadget - November 09 2010 at 5:07pm |

It should be a similar ranking, as it's still a 5670. I'm very biased towards XFX because they stand behind their stuff. lifetime warranty says a lot to me.
That being said, Sapphire is a good brand, even if only a 2 yr warranty on that card. I'm looking at memory now. I wanted to remind you to look up approved RAM for whatever mobo you choose. I promise there will be something about it if you look hard enough. ASUS stuff should be pretty easy to find. I really don't know about biostar. |

Memory is pretty simple and I agree with your choice.
Hard drive, however, I have another choice. I'm a big fan of Western Digital, especially their Black drives. 5 year warranty and lots of other perks... The drive you picked had a 16MB cache, for starters, while this one has 32. Some of their drives have some other bonuses but I think this one's main perks are the 32 cache and +2 years warranty. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136320 Edited by Dantheman5187 - November 09 2010 at 5:11pm |
