Pac-Man (パックマン, Pakkuman?) is an arcade game developed by Namco and licensed for distribution in the U.S. by Midway, first released in Japan on May 22, 1980.

Google.com has a neat way of reminding us to celebrate bits of history, some relevant, some not so much. Pac-Man, for the majority of us, played a role in our childhood as one of the first video games we have played. And even to this day, who hasn't played Pac-Man?

I got a good laugh when I went to google.com today and saw how they changed their logo, as they commonly do to recognize events and holidays, to show their love and respect for the game.

And then I realized that using your arrow keys you can actually play the game!  I've played many flashed based games including versions of Pac-Man, but this was unexpected and pretty cool if I say so myself.

Visit google.com today, insert a coin and go back 30 years for some ghost dodging fun.
