Its not a problem anymore but i was just wondering why this happens.Few days ago i got a Video card from a friend MSI NX8800GTS 320 OC.
With this card on Mi MB goes to 58C, CPU 70C, all the Cores on 70C, Vedeo on 85-90C.The fan working on 100%.I put my old video card and CPU falls on 26C, 30C when plain, the cores 0 and 1 on 47C 2 and 3 on 37C. Is it posible a Video card to overheat all the PC?

That card draws a hell of a lot of power - which means heat - and it has to go somewhere. I have 9 fans in my PC, with a 1,000 watt power supply. The lights in the room dim when I start it. I have the same series card, NVidiea 8800GTS. My CPU's right now are all less than 40 degrees - and all 4 cpu's are running faster than 50% as I am doing a complete backup to my server with encryption.

Dump the computer case and go with a bench.Like mine

Actually i had the bench idea and about to buy a water cooler, got 200W more then the card needs and the PC is freezing right now with my old card.
The only problem is that if i build this thing im 100% sure my daughter will pull the cables all the time

BTW is there a way to use a second Power Supply for some additional fans?
