All you have to do is download the .zip files, and then extract them. They each extract to a .vpk file, which you double click to "run" it, and it will automatically install everything in the proper place for you. Then you can delete the .vpk and the .zip and you should be good to go.

Also, in Steam, go to the Tools tab and find Left 4 Dead 2 Add-on Support. Tell that to install.

If the .vpk does not work for you, try putting it in your addons folder for Left 4 Dead 2. It is located in:
Steam/Steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/ left 4 dead 2/addons
Try running the .vpk once it is there.
This should solve the problem
