have been trying to install game for 2hrs,  says steam is not available..is this pretty normal or could i have another problem going on?...any help would be great

First of all Bounty like goats, second steam sucks lately, a lot of problems with L4D2, disconnects, servers have slots but show full etc etc.Its always like this before update.

Connor, and really everyone, I don't think I've had problems installing a game like that. Sure, it'll be difficult for a short time, but never that long. Any luck since?

I keep getting disconnects saying - "No Steam Logon"  Hopefully they will resolve soon...

Lol you just log to the Steam forums, L4D2 section and look at the bugs secton.Valve make games fast on good prices, not like Blizard, but the first year of the games life is patching, the second patching the patches lol.Its stil fun.Steam have millions of users, i guess the servers are red hot all over the world.

Makes sense. They do a pretty decent job with it, all things considered. I'm kind of curious about their average server specs.

Im not surprised steam is having a few problems considering the traffic on steam over christmas, I am surprised its taking so long to fix for Connor.

Sometimes i jump from download location to another, i usualy use Spain+Portugal, UK and eastern Europe, on the last one i get very fast download because there is less traffic i guess.

heres a little update...game finally installed onafternoon of 28th..then lost all sound.  Not sure what happened but tried everything to fix, wife couldnt fix it ...so this morning uninstalled game and did system restore ...reinstalled game and all is good.

set to easy single player and i still run out of bullets...lol
