I cant figure out why it is, when I go into certain servers, I lose all my binds, all the controls go back to the default, and I dont have the rpmmod. Now everything is fine in Wasteland and one other server that I play at.

Can someone please help me!!!!

The game need time to collect all the info about the diferent mods on the diferent servers. If you open you SoF2 folder you will notice folders wearing the names of mods that you have never installed but there is your client info.Every time you connect a server that have a diferent mod, you will have to make your settings again. When this happens you just go to the folder of the new mod and paste there your sof2mp cfg and rejoin the server.
Its same as when you start the game for first time, there is no sof2mp cfg but after start the game generates one.Same with the mods. The settings dont turn back to default, but the game reads them for diferent folder for the server you play.

When you have a clean instalation of sof2 there is no sof2mp cfg which is the file that contain all your settings like binds and keyboard configuration. You stil dont have a mod OK?The first thing you make is to set all the keys for movement etc.But when you join a server as WL with RPMPro on it it all goes wrong, all on default and you are a unnamed player. This is because the game have made a folder RPMPro in your sof2 folder with its own sof2mp cfg file.Same with all the mods.THey make own folders in your SoF2 folder and they use the path to read your settings.THe easyest way is to make every time your settings. There are not so many mods and at the end you will be able to play without problems.

you can at least make an executable file for your binds...

open notepad, and type out your binds, something similar to this

bind o say ^hThank You!
bind l say ^hNice Shot #d
bind k say ^hNice Nade #d
bind p say ^gMy Armor #a ^hMy Health #h

save the file as .cfg (momoney.cfg for example)

not exactly sure which folder you have to put this in, so copy it to adm, base & base/mp just to cover all the bases

while you are in game, open console & type /exec momoney.cfg

that should set all the binds in that file, and you can always add to it

All of your binds are stored in the sof2mp.cfg file.  When you get all your binds set save a duplicate of the sof2mp.cfg file and put it somewhere you'll remember.  If you ever reinstall the game or lose your binds you can just copy and paste the file into the appropriate folder.
