I want to inform wasteland community members and everyone else that I might be bringing the server home for updates and repairs.
If I do that I will be sending to another data center in Dallas.
In the meantime we will need to set up a temp teamspeak server.
For those that want to do a ping/trace test and compare the 2 locations.
Server location now. is 69.90.112.123
The new location will have ip range of...and you can ping and trace this ip.
206.123.64.201 Here mine comparing the 2 ping and trace.

Hit start
look for command prompt
white box will come up.
tpye in cmd
black box will show up.
tpye in ping 69.90.112.123
Then tpye in ping 206.123.64.201
That will show you the ping to each location.
then tpye in tracert 69.90.112.123
And then tracert 206.123.64.201
That will show you the rout and how many hops to each location.
hope this helps

OK I just informed my server provider to ship the server out. All games are now shut down except for TS, that of course will shut down when they turn her off.
Hopefully when it returns to new location after cleaning the server up and making any repairs it will be as good as new.....and with a solid connection with a good provider that will return my calls.
We will see you all on the backside. Good luck and happy hunting.

It will be shutting down, my guess it would be at the end of this month....so another day or so. And than hopefully after the repairs and any upgrade we will ship it off to same location or Dallas. I prefer Dallas because of the people that run that data center has great repetition....and very solid network.
In fact those south of the border should have better connection and many people across the pond might have better connection as well. As some of old tracert had shown couple years back.
