I love the internet and technology that allows unsigned artists to create and perform for the world.

Unique voice, captivating video editing, nice beat.

Artist: Pamplamoose
Song: Hail Mary

If you check out their youtube page, look for "My Favorite Things" video.  Her harmonies are exceptional.

Yes!  What a great voice she has.  I'm always a sucker for the sounds of sincerity.  I also really like the close up on the child's glockenspiel.  lol

It's hard for me to describe this next clip in terms of style or genre.  It hints of Woodstock, Crosby,Stills, Nash and Young meets Clapton, with an essence of aged Black Crows.  I love it when a band can reach outside to confines of a 3 1/2 minute track and really bring their song to life.

Artist: Widespread Panic featuring Ann Marie Calhoun
Song: Driving Song (extended)

A note on Ann Marie Calhoun.  She's awesome. Check out her entry to a contest with the Foo Fighters: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbpfHBs8qpA

Oh yeah, she won that contest ;)

I watched the entire clip and loved it.  What a great group of players on one stage.  There are so many cool things to talk about in this clip.  The style is jazz/rock fusion, which makes it even more impressive because all the musicians on stage were improvising.  They were all spontaneously making the music up while they played.  It is obvious that she is classically trained, but she knows jazz theory as well.....which is what pushes her over into the 'awesome' category.  Those other guys were great too, did you see that huge bass?  Dang.  Did you notice how all the other guys were older?  It takes a long time to get that good at anything. ....Kinda like O.B.C.!  lol  Anyhow, great video...I wish I knew the name of the song.  Clap

I was fan of Jewel when she first hit mainstream.  She caught everyone by suprise that most of her songs were re-recorded for radio.  Whereas her album was a little less polished it's what made it awesome.

One of my favorite songs is 'Who will save your soul' so I couldnt help but click on the link when I saw that in the title.  I wasn't expecting much at all from an 11 year old, but was intrigued that she was playing the guitar as well.

Artist: Marnée
Song: Who will save your soul (Jewel - 1996 Atlantic Records)

Here's a Christmas tune for you all, not one I usually hear this time of year.  This is very well done, the harmonies are superb and editing is fantastic.

The video is posted on Wade Johnston's youtube page as part of a Christmas collaboration series he's put together with many other musicians.  Follow links in the videos description to hear more from the main performers in this video.

Nice music in this thread. Here's some of my contribution to music. Mostly from 10 years ago, new stuff to be released eventually and should have our band's music up soon. The other 3 bands I'm with have quite a bit too but we aren't doing much but private parties right now. Be prepared, some of this is inspired by alcohol.

Shoemaker brothers. Grew up with one of the brothers, and another was my youth pastor. They now travel all over the world.
