Of all the Republican candidates left in the field at the end of January none other than Ron Paul had the most cash in hand -- some $6 million. And, like a true conservative, Paul reported not a penny in debt.

I have to add that LA Times has been the best, if not the only major newspaper to regularly talk about Paul. They didn't start out that way, however, and used the same marching orders given out to the big 5 media. But as time went on, Andrew Malcolm, the author of this and many other Paul stories, realised the blatent media blackout wasn't just a conspiracy theory.

But one thing remains true; with all the free media given to McCain only someone like Ross Perot or Bill Gates could afford to compete. Paul doesn't have a chance, not because of his message but because someone doesn't want us to hear it.

He has spent about 25 of the 35-40 million he raised. There's still a long way to go to the primaries.

The point is that McCain and Huckabee are broke and have been in debt yet I can almost guarantee that within one minute of turning on any of the big 5 corporate media you will here McCain at least 5 times.

Check out this graph:

http://www.google.com/trends/viz?q=ron+paul,+john+mccain&date=2007&geo=all&graph=weekly_img&ctab=0&sa=N

The blue is Ron Paul, the red McCain. So little interest in McCain yet so many news articles. And the opposite for Paul.

And now we get to look forward to the big 5 corporate media to buy up any and every newspaper or local news channel they want.

With these restrictions now lifted every word we hear or read could be brought to us by our good friends at Lockheed Martin, Ratheon or Northrop Grumman. Clap
