hey ppl can some1 help me about my binds. i have made a notepad called binds.cfg and put it my mp file i try to extract it onto the game but it is not workin can some1 tell help plz thankz

ye i done them but the problem is i carnt exec them i dont understand why can some1 tell me wa i need to do from the start just incase i made a mistake plz

How to make a bind list:

1. Open up notepad
2. Determine if you are gonna say something (team,open) or if you are going to do a gamma/screenshto/console dump/etc....
3. If you are going to say something in open chat then...
    /bind <key> "say you txt here" make sure you include the 'say' portion in the quotes ("").
4. if you are going to say something in team talk then....
    /bind <key> "say_team your text goes here" make sure that you include the 'say_team; in side the quotes ("")
5. if you are going to do a gamma (brightness) change, screenshot...then....
    /bind <key> screenshot  or
    /bind <key> seta r_gamma (your desired amount) in gamma regaurds...the lowest value is 0.5 the highest is 2.0....the .5 will give you the best sniper solution...but at a cost in buildings...where you'll not be able to see inside any structures; 2.0 is highly inadvisable. So I recommend at least a gamma value of 1.2-1.6 will give you the best visability inside buildings.

Also don't bind to your default movement/vote/mouse buttons...as you know what the adverse effects are

If you want to bind to the "HOME/DELETE/END/PAGE UP/PAGE DOWN" group keys the keys are assigned:
Home = HOME
End = End
Delete = DEL
Page UP = PGUP
Page Down = PGDN

if you also want to bind to the keypad...the keys are:
Location "7" = HOME  == KP_home
Location "9" = PGUP == KP_PGUP
Location "1" END == KP_END
Location "3" PGDN == KP_PGND

There are other ways to bind the other keys in the keypad (number pad on right side of keyboard)

After you are through. double check for typos/missed quotes ("")/ and any other undesirable flaws... and do CTRL+S or Save..and save it as a .cfg File... Make sure it is in your: C:\Program Files\Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix\base\mp folder.

Close your .cfg bind config document, and go into sof2. When you get into the server bring down the console with "~" and type in /exec binds.cfg
